CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATED ON THE EVE OF 911

Yesterday as he engaged college students on the campus of Utah Valley University, a young man of great promise was brutally killed. He was fulfilling his calling and passion to reach other young people with the truth about God and America. They have killed the messenger, but the message lives on.

Pray with us for Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, and his two small children. Pray also that the truth which Charlie used to destroy the lies and deception of “wokeism”  will be heard and understood by millions more in his death. May an army of young spiritual warriors for truth take up his mantle.

Charlie Kirk was killed the eve of one of the worst days in America history. Today is September 11th. Twenty-four years ago radical Islamist terrorists hijacked four airplanes and flew two of them into the Twin Towers in New York City and one into the Pentagon. The fourth was taken down by patriotic passengers who sacrificed their lives to stop the hijackers from reaching their final target – The Capitol Building. Instead, it crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed in those attacks. That day is still etched into our consciousness. In the aftermath of 9/11, there was a surge of Patriotic fervor to fight for our country against those who want to destroy it.

The same evil which brought down the World Trade Towers took the life of Charlie Kirk. The stated motivations may be different, but the underlying sentiment is the same: hatred of God, hatred of America ,and hatred of patriotic believers. Yet the resilience of the American people has not diminished.

Our faith in God and biblical values give us hope in the darkest of times. As we say goodbye to Charlie Kirk and commemorate those who lost they lives on 9/11, let us commit to shine ever brighter, love ever stronger, and stand ever more courageously as the land of the free and the home of the brave.
