The MLK Breakfast helps set the right tone at the beginning of each year. From the start we wanted this event to symbolize Dr. King’s dream of a beloved community. That dream unifies us. I have been saying for many years, “it’s not the skin, it’s the sin. It’s not differences in our complexions, but the condition of our hearts that determines the future of our communities and our country.”
