Bishop Jackson,

I listened to you on the radio this morning, noted the website, and came to this site. What a clear, common sense presentation of conservative thought! I commend you for beginning a coalition to take back and strengthen America! It is time we insist on our elected officials begin serving and stop dictating. We MUST become a nation that judges a man strictly on the “content of character”. We are all created by the same loving and amazing God. Divisiveness and pitting people into “groups” is wrong regardless of the color of the skin of the man doing the talking. United we Stand, Divided we Fall. I stand with you, Bishop!

Mr. Bishop, thank you for speaking out against the recent NAACP condemnation of the Tea Party movement. I totally agree with your statment. I especially was hopeful that you described the Tea Party as “a movement that seeks to restore those founding principles that unite Americans of all colors as one nation, indivisible.”

I also read your website, and like your views. You share my hyphenated American position – and can you imagine the outrage from the Black Caucus if a White Caucus was formed, or a White History Month, or a Miss White America pageant? These divisive groups do not seek common ground, and only fuel racial tension. If we don’t get past this, we will never realize the dream of Martin Luther King.

I sincerely hope you push forward full-speed in spreading your conservative Christian views to the masses.

You sir, are a leader I can respect, and I would proudly work for you if you ever run for political office.

I enjoyed your Fox News appearance, thank you for that. The problems of racism we face 2010 seems oddly dramatically overhyped compare to my childhood in the 1970’s. Even if hard data is lacking to quantify/ compare racism’s growth/decline during the last 40 years, we SHOULD be a “less racist” society. Instead the Left has made racism and guilt the news fodder and we regular Americans are silenced for fear of expressing ourselves and being called racist. The irony is that when I go on the Huffington Post /leftist board and suggest that perhaps the Left is misinformed about Obama’s agenda, *I* am called a racist by white Leftists. I am Black and even if I can laugh at their feeble attempt to silence me, I can’t help but wonder how my White conservative brothers and sisters must feel attacked when this charge is thrown on them like a wet blanket.

After having read several blogs sir, I am overwhelmed with the desire to jump up and scream “amen”! It is about personal responsibility, nothing less. Personal responsibility to teach children to love each other instead of hate. Teach them to care and be concerned, instead of indifference. These young gang members have had derelict parents, and those come in all colors, in all walks of life (even those with money). I have a teen son, and have to place myself in the place of the parents of this teen, and it hurts terribly, he was obviously loved, because he was acting out what his loving parents had taught him, compassion.

I want to thank you for your work, and for standing with all Americans, as we should. I do believe that what has been happening has been, as you stated, payback politics, by this administration. It is more hurtful since the majority of the people they have aimed it at, have never been party to any racism, and certainly none from the past (such as what happened during slavery and after). Those practising this idea of payback politics are wanting those of us Americans, who are white, to pay for injustices which we never participated in, and also for most of us, would find appalling. This is akin to prosecuting the children of a felon for his/her crimes. It makes no sense. I pray our nation will return to God and begin to come away from the damage done by liberal progressives, and back to a Godly nation, for all of our sake.

Bishop, I stumbled across your church site and this STAND blog. WOW, you have a real gift to speak to the truth. I applaud you and will be praying for you and your church. Thank you thank you thank you, we need people like you to continue to call us to attention. I feel such dread for our country, and then when I know there are still believers who are alert and calling us, I feel so much better. Let’s wake up God’s children!

Thank you all so much for standing up to the Black Caucus. I am so proud of you for doing this. It is wrong what our government is doing in trying to divide all of us as American’s into the race card. Thank you for having the “guts” to stand up and let your voice be heard.
